Agriturismo D. Fiore offers an authentic Southern Italian experience in the rolling hills of Abruzzo Region, complete with traditional cuisine, regional wine and comfortable accommodations, where the relationship between quality and price is better than anywhere else in Italy.

With a scenic background of wilderness and mountains, Silvi sits east of Rome, wedged between the warm, white-sand Adriatic beaches of Silvi Marina and the lush blue landscape of the Mediterranean sea. The spectacular 360 degree view from Agriturismo D. Fiore is of both seas, connected by thin winding roads, spattered with humble hilltop villages, medieval cobblestone towns and sprawling olive orchards and vineyards. The restaurant, house and gazebo of Agriturismo D. Fiore are surrounded by vegetation, trees and fields where feral ponies run free.

Each of the two rooms available can comfortably house 2-4 guests, with an in-suite bathroom in each.

In a remodeled farmhouse, the dining area serves organic and local products in typical Abruzzese style: crisp vegetables and tender meats with a light coating of home-made extra virgin olive oil and fresh herb seasonings in a combination of alluring aromas and secret recipes. With its own small organic vineyard and flourishing kitchen garden, visitors are assured a taste-enchanting experience.

There is nothing quite like morning espressos and crumbling baked goods served alongside a perfect light breeze on the gazebo, to start off a day walking along white sand and salt sprays in Silvi Marina, visiting the stone-covered medieval fortress of Silvi Paese, or discovering the diversity of Italian nature at its core, both wild and developed, rustic and modern.. Transportation can be arranged for all tourism purposes. 

Abruzzo region happens to be one of the best vine-growing environments in Italy and has developed one of the best grape varieties, Montepulciano. For those interested in the untapped market of the Abruzzo wine industry, there are a number of family estates and new vineyards that offer a range of fine and intense flavoured wines nearby. The past misguided image problems associated with apparent low standards of wine production are gradually shifting with proper understanding of the connected terms, “Trebbiano” and “Montepulciano,” while top wine experts are slowly beginning to familiarize themselves with the vast offerings of the Abruzzo region. Abruzzese families pair seafood platters with crispy dry Trebbianos while rich pastas and sautéed meats go better with a taste of dark Montepulciano; a stark difference in appealing tastes, famous and loved by locals. The delectable Abruzzi wines have yet to be properly discovered by specialists, connoisseurs and the Western world, with only four DOC exported wines and many more still to be revealed.
